Angeline Miller, age 99, passed away on October 5, 2019, surrounded by prayer, comfort and the love of her family. She was born on August 7, 1920, in Coalton, Oklahoma to Paul and Tekla Durkiewicz.
Angeline attended both Coalton grade school and Schulter High School. After graduation she fulfilled her love of helping people by becoming an LPN. Angeline used humor, skill and kindness throughout her long career as a nurse at Henryetta Hospital.
Angeline married her high school sweetheart, Sam G. Miller, in 1941, who has preceded her in death.
She is survived by their three children, Sally Ann Martin, Gayle Lynn Wauters (Dr. Brent Louis Wauters), and Sammie Ross Miller; her grandchildren, Monica Lynn Martin-DiBiasio, Valerie Ann Martin and (Richard Clark), January (husband Raymond) Davila, Todd Alan Wauters, Trevor Lane (wife Brandi) Wauters, Trent Matthew (wife Daryn) Wauters, Andrew Miller and Miranda Miller. She was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren.
Angeline’s love and devotion to her church and faith could be witnessed as she recited her rosary daily. This love and devotion carried forward into everything she held dear; her family, her cooking and her amazing roses.
Holy Rosary will be conducted at 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 11th at Integrity Chapel.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Phung as celebrant. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Todd Wauters, Trent Waters, Trevor Wauters, & Sammy Miller.
