Angelita Louise Norris

Angelita Louise Norris, a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Tulsa at the age of 52. Angelita was born on February 25, 1962 in Sells, Arizona to Ned Norris and Mary Ann Norris. She grew up in Arizona where she attended school. Angelita was married to Wendell Wayne Harjo and they resided in Sells, Arizona. Later Angelita moved to the Henryetta Oklahoma area, where she worked at the Anchor Glass concession for several years. Angelita served many people in a variety of roles. She was an accomplished cook, and a loving mother, sister, and daughter. Angelita is preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by a son, Hunter Harjo of Henryetta; 3 daughters, Michaela Johnson of Tucson, AZ, Kaitlynn Harjo, and Natalie Norris, both of Henryetta; by five sisters, Barbara Corella, Cindy Norris, Marilyn Norris, Vivian Norris and Beverly Norris; two brothers, Melvin Norris of Tucson and Joseph Norris of Sells, AZ; by numerous nieces and nephews and many good friends. Funeral services for Angelita will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Hickory Ground #1 Church in Henryetta with Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating and Wallace Gambler assisting. Interment will follow immediately at Hickory Ground #1 Church cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
