Anne Kathleen Barton

Anne Kathleen Barton, a resident of Schulter, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 in Schulter, OK at the age of 41. She was born January 29, 1972 in Amarillo, TX. Anne was a faithful follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her family with a passion and enjoyed many good friends throughout her lifetime. Her care and compassion for others was on display daily as she served the sick who saw her as patients in both Texas and Oklahoma. We love her and miss her. Her beautiful smile is gone from us but her love for us lives on. We know now that it is well with her soul. She is survived by her husband Phil and son Matthew of Schulter, OK, Mother and stepfather Barbara and Joe Greer of Plano, TX, Father and stepmother Ron Williams and Kathy Schaper of DeKalb, NY, Sister and brother-in-law Carol and Mike Guentherman and nieces, Kylie, Ashley and Katy of Wylie, TX, Stepdaughter, Jakkie Roderick and husband Erik and granddaughter Madison of Little Elm, TX, Stepdaughter, Abigail Barton of Huntsville, AL, Grandmother Dorothy Steckline of McKinney, TX, Grandmother Barbara Williams of Rye, CO, Aunt and uncle Pam and Donnie Stephens of McKinney, TX, Aunt Cindy Johnston and cousins, Todd, Bethany and Seth of McKinney, TX, Aunt and uncle Mary and Bill Muse of Kerrville, TX, Aunt Eve Campbell of Providence, Texas, and Cousin Jason Campbell & wife Tara and son Gage of Dallas, Texas Uncle J Lynn Williams of Eldorado, TX, Stepbrother, Jeff Greer and wife Julie of MCKinney, TX, Stepbrother John Greer and wife Phyllis of Melissa, TX, Mother-in-law, Marion Gray of Denison, TX, Brother-in-law, Bill Barton of Honolulu, HI, Father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Ralph and Kathi Barton of Roxbury, CT, and a host of extended family and friends. Anne was preceded in death by her dear aunt Carol; her grandfathers, Harold Williams and Lloyd Steckline; and her uncle Doug Williams. She was a graduate of UT Southwestern Physician Assistant Program, 1995. She was a member of the Schulter Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Todd Johnston, Seth Johnston, Mike Guentherman, Erik Roderick, John Greer, and Jason Campbell. The family has designated Schulter Baptist Church (P.O. Box 65 Schulter, OK 74460) as appropriate for donations in lieu of flowers. Viewing will be from 2-8 pm on Thursday, May 16, 2013 and from 8am to 8pm on Friday with family present to greet friends from 5-7 pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Schulter Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery, Wilson Community, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
