Arlie Dean Smith, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 72. He was born June 22, 1943 in Okemah, OK.
He married Frances Thomas on May 25, 1973 in Schulter, Oklahoma.
Arlie was a member of the Christian Assembly of God Church in Schulter, Oklahoma.
Arlie worked at Anchor Glass for twenty years and later worked for the Henryetta Head Start Program for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edward Smith.
Arlie is survived by his wife Frances Smith of the home,
two children, Kevin Dean Smith of Henryetta,
and Angela Denise Thomas & husband Michael II of Henryetta,
two grandchildren, Weston Michael thomas of Henryetta,
and Austin Dean Thomas of Henryetta,
four sisters, Elaine Cates of Greenville, Texas,
Jean reno & husband Lloyd of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma
Joan Smith of Nicoma Park,
and Scharlene Moore & husband Floyd of Nicoma Park,
as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 27, and on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 8am-8pm at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be, Frank Porter, Carroll Wesson, Darrell Moreland, Leo Lassiter, Billy Joe Thomas, & Mike Price. Honorary pallbearers will be, Earl Dickey, Richard Thomas & F. E. Bowling.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Diane Twist, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
