Barbara Nydean Gilpatrick

September 17, 1931 — September 22, 2016

Barbara Nadine Gilpatrick, a resident of Henryetta passed away Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 at her home at the age of 85. She was born September 17th, 1931 to Rev. Elmer David Lockhart and Eunice (Hamilton) Lockhart. Barbara worked as a store clerk with Safeway Stores in San Jose, California for twenty years before her retirement.

She was a graduate of Henryetta High Schools Class of 1950 and was very proud to be a "Fighting Hen". She was the treasurer for the Henryetta Fighting Hens, treasurer for Woodmen of the World chapter #1218, treasurer for the Henryetta All School Reunions, she also worked on the Henryetta School Foundation. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Henryetta as well as a member of the Henryetta Art Association and The Woodcarvers Association of California.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Elmer D. Lockhart and Eunice (Hamilton) Lockhart, also by two sisters, Leona Phillips and Naomi Bambrough.

She is survived by two children, Dean Gilpatrick of Henryetta;
Barbara Ann Gilpatrick Shadle of San Jose, California;
Two sisters, Ruth of Dallas, Texas;
Elouise of Salt Lake City, Utah;
One aunt, Hazel Saunders of Henryetta;
A cousin she was close to, Ronnie Hamilton & wife Teresa of Henryetta;
Also by a many, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Viewing will begin on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 4pm until 8pm.
Viewing will resume on Tuesday, from 8am until 8pm.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 28 at Dustin Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
