Barbara Ann Turnbull

Barbara Ann "Jeep" Turnbull, a lifelong resident of Hitchita, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 73. She was born to Lester Potts and Margaret (Polk) Potts on September 18, 1937 in Hitchita. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Margaret Potts, one brother, Billy Compton, and by two sisters, Bertie Russell, and Betty Carson. She married Jim Turnbull on September 30, 1975 in Tulsa Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband Jim Turnbull of the home, her son Brad Turnbull & wife Dianna of Collinsville, Oklahoma, daughter, Tonya Rozell & husband Mike of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Chance Turnbull, Colton Turnbull, Jordan Rozell, and Hunter Rozell, as well as many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chance Turnbull, Colton Turnbull, Hunter Rozell, Roger Worth, Hunter Russell, and Todd Russell. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:30 am at the Eastside Baptist Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma with Rev. Wayne Teafatiller officiating. Interment will be in Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy. Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service, Henryetta, Oklahoma.
