She was born July 22, 1933 in Okemah, OK to William Taylor & Minnie (Benson) Taylor. Beatrice married John Lee Chaffin on December 10, 1947 in Okemah. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Lee Chaffin, son, Jerry Wayne Chaffin, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Riley Taylor, and Robert Taylor. Beatrice is survived by 6 children, Janice, Balentine of Haskell, Oklahoma; Joyce McCroskey & husband Joe of Burleson, Texas; Johnny Chaffin & wife Darlene of Slocum, Texas; James Chaffin & fiancé©e Kristi Byrd of Okemah, Joanna Hulstine & husband Jeff of Wetumka; and Doug Chaffin & fiancé©e Shannon Proctor of Seminole; 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-greatgrandchild, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Highland Park Cemetery, Okemah, Oklahoma with Rev. Joe McCroskey, officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Shurden Funeral Home - Henryetta.
