Benjamin Ruben Culp, a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on March 8, 2015 in Henryetta at the age of 31. Ben was born on September 1, 1983 in Bakersfield, California to Roger Dale Culp and Debra Ann Winfrey. Ben grew up in Tehachapi, California where he attended school as a young boy. He later finished his education while living in Mesa, Arizona with his family. For the past several years Ben was working as a pipeliner for Precision Drilling Company. Ben was married to his wife Amber Faye Owens on December 12, 2007 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Ben always took great pride and enjoyment in raising two sons, Tyler and L.J. Ben loved his family and he will be missed by his entire family and his many good friends. Ben is survived by his wife Amber Culp and two sons, Tyler Owens and L.J. Crawford of the home; a daughter, McKenna McIntire of Oak Harbor, Washington; his parents, Roger and Debra Culp of Camano Island, Washington; his four sisters, Michel Culp Harmon and husband Sammy Dale of Henryetta, Colleen Winn and husband Daniel of Tehachapi, CA, Stacy Scott and husband Joshua of Ft. Collins, CO, and Sarah Vidmar and Rene Garcia of Tuscon, AZ; his grandmother, Betty Culp of Tehachapi, CA; mother-in-law, Deborah Minnick of Henryetta, brother-in-law, Ryan Minnick of Checotah; 23 nieces and nephews, 2 great nieces, and a great nephew; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, other extended family and many good friends. He is preceded in death by both of his maternal grandparents, and his paternal grandfather. A memorial service for Ben will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1514 N. 5th Street in Henryetta, with Jim Nolen officiating. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
