Bernadette "Sunny" Ratcliff, 54, a resident of Dustin, Oklahoma passed away Monday, April 1st, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sunny was born August 28th, 1969 in Oklahoma City, to Janet Sue (Tolbert) and Kenneth Ray Watkins,
Sunny is preceded in death by her Dad and both sets of Grandparents.
Her radiant spirit quickly earned her the nickname "Sunny," and boy, did she live up to that name! Sunny brought laughter and light into every one of the nursing homes where she worked. She attended Sapulpa Public Schools, Keystone Public schools before she moved to Dustin and attended Hanna Public School. Dustin would become her home, where she would spend her days, watching her favorite television show Walker Texas Ranger and other television movies. Sunny also enjoyed long neighborhood walks with her furbabies. She was the friendliest of souls, stopping to chat and share time with friends, embodying the words loving, friendly, and spirited.
Sunny is survived by her sons, Kenneth Ratcliff, his girlfriend Tabitha Burris, of Henryetta, Oklahoma and Joshua Dubois, of Henryetta, Oklahoma who were the apples of her eye, and they, along with her sister Jeanee Almond, her husband Curtis, and a niece and nephew, from Texas. She also leaves her beloved fur babies Cooper and Poppy, who were her loyal sidekicks.
Sunny was much loved and will be greatly missed. Her love echoes in our hearts, reminding us that the sun never really sets-it simply moves on to brighten another shore.
