Betty Lou Davis, a longtime resident of Henryetta, passed away Thursday, April 20th, 2017 in Okmulgee at the age of 87. She was born February 28, 1903 in Gueda Springs, Kansas to Richard Brady & Ola Belle (Craddock) Brady. She married Shirl Davis, March 8, 1948 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
Betty was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening & spending time with her family. For many years she operated a pet shop out of her home selling tropical fish & birds.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Shirl Davis, a son-in-law, Bill Casey, three brothers, Bob Brady, Richard Brady, & Jim Brady.
Betty is survived by three children, Norma Barnett of Henryetta;
Rita Casey of Morris;
Carl "Pete" Davis & wife Sunny of Pueblo West, Colorado;
Four grandchildren, Amy Barnett of Jenks;
Darcy Hunter & husband Todd of Henryetta;
Dawna Peters & husband Colby of Sapulpa;
T. Lacey Davis-Lee & husband David of Reynoldsburg, Ohio;
Eight great grandchildren; T. J. Hunter, Nicole Stange, Kelby Morgan, Daisy VanMeter, Savanna Peters, Evan Peters, Turner Lee & Evaline Lee;
Two great-great grandchildren, Wyatt Stange & Chazalyn Owen;
A brother, Joe Brady & wife Pat of Sulphur;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
