Betty Lou Warren, a long-time Weleetka area resident, passed from this life on Friday, September 30, 2011 in Shawnee at the age of 82. Betty was born on September 15, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Rachel Hamilton Fletcher and Joe Fletcher. Betty grew up in the Weleetka and Pharoah communities. She attended Pharoah School and was a member of the Christ Community Church in Weleetka. Betty was married to Arch Warren, Jr. on October 5, 1950 in Clarksville, Arkansas. Betty and Arch proudly raised 4 sons and 2 daughters, while she also worked at Hillcrest Hospital in Oklahoma City for approximately 20 years as a nurse's aid. Betty is preceded in death by both her mother, her father, and a son, Dallas Warren, Jr. She is survived by her husband Arch of the home in Weleetka; a son, Joe Warren of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Deanne Roberts and husband David of Tahlequah; a daughter, Mary Webb and husband Terry of Shawnee; a son, Allyn Warren and wife Joy of Norman; a son, Dallas Warren and wife Bonnie of Moore, OK; a son, Mike Warren of Las Vegas, NV; and by 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; as well as many good friends. Pallbearers will be Joe Warren, Mark Bowlan, Brian Smith, Chris Webb, Shannon Roberts, and Taylor Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Warren, John Ernie Simms and Kevin Roberts. A funeral service for Betty will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Apostolic House of Prayer in Henryetta with Rev. David Roberts officiating and Allyn Warren assisting. Interment will follow immediately at Dustin Cemetery in Dustin, Oklahoma under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta.
