Billy James Howard

Billy James "Bill" Howard, a resident of Schulter passed away Friday, July 29th, 2016 in Broken Arrow at the age of 82. He was born November 11, 1933 in Henryetta to Aaron Prinson Howard and Mabel (Decker) Howard.

Among the many jobs that Bill held over the years was body man, mechanic, and carpentry, but his real love and desire was preaching the gospel and winning souls to Christ.

Bill married Marie Elizabeth Ashley in 1976 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and remained together for 38 years as the best of friends. Marie preceded him in death October 11, 2014. Also preceding him in death are his parents and one sister, Minizel "Minnie" McLeland, also a daughter in law Patty Howard.

Bill is survived by his children, Billy Howard of Broken Arrow, Gary Howard of Tulsa, Bob Howard & wife Beverly of Broken Arrow, Dale Howard of Henryetta, Mike Howard & wife Tiffany of Henryetta, Mark Howard & wife Rachel of Broken Arrow, Bryan Howard of Enid and Patricia Dombek of Henryetta. Also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one sister, Lucille Adair of Henryetta.

Viewing will be on Monday, August 1st at Integrity Funeral Service from 1 - 8pm.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jared Dumond officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
