Bobbie Wanda James

Bobbie Wanda James (Mulliniks), a true adventurer at heart, peacefully departed from this world on October 18, 2023, at the age of 92, at Clarehouse in Tulsa. Born on January 20, 1931, in Stratford, Oklahoma, to Eliza Best Mulliniks and E.S. Mulliniks. Bobbie met the love of her life, Harry Liles in 1949. They were married and had 3 children, they eventually divorced, then she married Roy James Jr. (Jeep) who was a loving husband to her and a wonderful stepfather to her children.
She worked for several years for Shirley's Paint Store, which became a testament to her kindness, she enjoyed being of service. The great outdoors, especially camping, and the mountains, held a special place in her heart. Bobbie's interest led her and her husband, Jeep, on adventures from managing an RV Park in California to operating a motel in Casper, Wyoming. Yet, regardless of where they ventured, Okmulgee was home. She was a loving mother to her children, Linda Henderson and her husband Robert Henderson, Jim Liles, and his wife Karen Liles. Bobbie's affection extended to her numerous grandchildren, including Justin Henderson, Brad Henderson, Ginger Liles, Russell Scott, Lisa Hicks and Jack Wood. Her great-grandchildren, Asheley, Amber, Brayden, Brent, Tyrion and Teryn brought so much joy into her life, also numerous great-great-grandchildren, stepchildren, Connie Bradley and husband Tom and David James and wife Aundie and their children and grandchildren, former daughter-in-law Brenda Liles, and her dog "Jessie James" who she adored.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy James Jr. (Jeep), daughter Kelly Renee, brothers: Melvin, Sidney, Carl, Delmous, Bill, Jimmy, Clarence, and grandson, Sean Henderson, and stepson, Jeff James. As we bid farewell to Bobbie Wanda James (Mulliniks), we remember her as a tenacious woman, a devoted wife and mother. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared and the lives she touched during her remarkable 92 years.
Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Integrity Chapel .
