Bonnie Joyce Verde

Bonnie (Johnson) Verde passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 in Tahlequah at the age of 53. She was born January 6, 1960 to Helen and Wilton Johnson of Schulter,OK. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her brother Wilton Frederick Johnson and her daughter Crystal Gayle Calvert. She is survived by her daughters: Shonna Earnest of Poteau,OK Patty McDown of Moore, OK. Her grandchildren Eric, Christopher, William, Briddgett, and Liam. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Frances Jameson of Clarksville,TN., Stanley Johnson of Fayetteville, AR Connie Hobbs of Henryetta, OK. Diana Ray of Tahlequah, OK. Ricky Johnson of Rogers,AR., Sam Johnson of Lewistown, PA. And many friends and loved ones. She believed in God and she loved the Country. She loved fishing and hunting and country music. She could make you laugh and light up your day. She tried to be a good mom, and grandma. She was a good friend to the people she loved and never forgot a birthday! Sometimes the world was a hard place for her to handle. But you always knew she loved you. We will miss her and wish she could've lived a happier longer life, but God needed her more than we knew, So she is finally at rest with God and hopefully happy and full of joy to see her family that's already passed, she missed them all very much. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 9, 2013 in Shurden Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
