Bruce Willard Mercer

Bruce Willard Mercer, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 50. He was born May 11, 1963 in La Mirada, CA to Bob Junior Mercer & Irene (Jones). He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Mercer, and his brother Danny Mercer. Bruce was a member of Crosstown Pentecostal Holiness Church in Okmulgee. Bruce is survived by his three children, Joshua Mercer of Okmulgee, Heather Long & husband Christopher of Glenpool, and Jonathan Mercer of Okmulgee, three grandchildren, Dylan Long of Glenpool, Caitlyn Mercer of North Carolina, and Devin Mercer of North Carolina, mother, Irene Moore of Okmulgee, sister, Donna Jones of Alma, Arkansas, and brother Bob Mercer & wife Pam of San Antonio, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Robert Ramirez, Anthony Mercer, Daniel Cullipher, Andy Lemaster, Geebon Gouge, Chad Spurlock, and Dr. Mark Allen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Clifford, Joshua Mercer, Jonathan Mercer, Christopher Long, Bobby James Mercer, Bob Mercer, and Ryan Mercer. Viewing will be from 12-8 pm on Tuesday, May 14th at Integrity Funeral service. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2:00PM at Covelle Hall at OSUIT in Okmulgee with Rev. Wesley Berry, officiating and Rev. James VanHooser, Rev. John Randall, and Rev. Raymond Shann, assisting. Interment will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
