Buddy Ray Durbin, a lifetime resident of Dewar passed away Tuesday, July 7th, 2015 at his home in Dewar. He was born February 25, 1941 in Dewar to Bert Douglas Durbin and Thelma (Liles) Durbin. He married Marylu Moudy March 11, 1960 in Dewar. Buddy was a glassworker having worked at PPG in Henryetta as well as Anchor Glass Company. He was a member of the Dewar Public School Board and coached little league baseball in Dewar for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marylu, also by two brothers, William and Harlin Durbin. He is survived by three children: Barry Durbin & wife Marcy of Tulsa; Traci Gaither & husband Lloyd of Dewar; Christy Westmoreland husband Kevin of Dewar; Seven grandchildren; Meghann Samples of Tulsa; Christopher Durbin of Tulsa; Ashton Deming & husband Cody of El Paso, Texas; Tristan Gaither of Dewar; Kacey Westmoreland & wife Brandi of Okemah; Devon Blood of Dewar; Dustin Blood of Dewar; Five great-grandchildren; Peyton, Kourtney, Katilynn, Kalli, & Damon; One brother, Bert Durbin & wife Nancy of Dewar; Two sisters, Norma Jean Crummett of Dewar; Marie Durbin of Dewar; Also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Viewing will be 5-8pm Wednesday, and 8am-8pm Thursday at Integrity Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be, Kevin Westmoreland, Lloyd Gaither, Christopher Durbin, Devon Blood, Dustin Blood, & Cody Demming. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
