Burl Gene Pierce, a resident of Weleetka, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Weleetka, OK at the age of 74. He was born March 15, 1946 in Pittsburg County, OK to Oliver Pierce & Ruby (Brown) Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Homer Gene Angel.
Burl is survived by his two sons, Tony Hollis and Murl Hollis,
his siblings; Wanda Mae Rhine, Myrle Dean Durbin, Cynthia Smith, Roger Pierce, Judith Gray, Gary Pierce, and Larry Pierce, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family is having a graveside memorial service on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Endtime Revival Church Cemetery south of Henryetta with Rev. Michael VanMeter, officiating.
