Carlos Melendez, a resident of Henryetta passed away Sunday, June 18th, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 65. He was born August 31, 1951 in Winwick, England to Carlos S. Melendez and Marion (O'Niell) Melendez. He married the love of his life, Joyce Phipps in Tucson, Arizona. He was the former manager of Kentucky Fried Chicken in Henryetta for 15 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Melendez.
He is survived by three children, Deewayne Melendez & wife Kathy of Henryetta;
Eugene Melendez of Schulter;
Delphia Adair & husband Paul of Eufaula;
His parents, Carlos S. & Alice Marie Melendez of Tucson, Arizona;
Seven grandchildren: Brandon Melendez, Jeffrey Melendez, Angelina Melendez, Sarah Patruska, Jonathan Patruska, Levi Young & Mickey Varvel.
Two great grandchildren, Micah J. Hornell & Emma Varvel;
Five brothers, Steven J. Melendez of Tucson, Arizona;
Andrew B. Melendez of Tucson, Arizona;
Thomas E. Melendez of Tucson, Arizona;
Ricardo J. Melendez of El Paso, Texas;
Michael P. Melendez of Boston, Massachusetts;
One sister, Becky orr of Mars, Pennsylvania

Viewing for Mr. Melendez will be on Monday, June 26th from 9am until noon at Integrity Funeral Service.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2017 at Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
