Carmalieta Timba Gambler

Carmalieta Timba Gambler, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 58. She was born to Stella (Bruner) Gambler and Wallace Gambler Sr. on March 20, 1953 in Henryetta. She was preceded in death by her parents and by 3 sisters, Lavinia Nye, Elizabeth Murphy, and Doris Ramirez. Carmalieta is survived by her son, Quinn Gambler & wife Kelli of Okemah, son, Quinten Gambler of Henryetta, grandchildren Laramie & Destiny Gambler of Okemah, and great granddaughter, Mariyah Belton of Okemah, brother, Bill Gambler & wife Patsy of San Juan, New Mexico, sister, Amelia Gambler of Okmulgee, brother, Wallace Gambler Jr. & wife Maxine of Ryal, Oklahoma, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Robert Manley, Paul Harjo, Bruce Harjo, Gabriel Ramirez, Josh Gambler, and Donnie McNac. Wake service will be held at Hickory Ground #1 Indian Baptist Church near Ryal at 7:30p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Hickory Ground #1 Indian Baptist Church with Pastor Mitchell Taylor, officiating. Interment will follow at Gambler Family Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
