Carolyn Renee Traywick

Carolyn Renee Traywick, 58 of Okmulgee, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was born on September 21, 1966 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to William and Thelma Jo (Exum) McCarty.

Carolyn was raised in Okmulgee and attended schools in Okmulgee, graduating from Okmulgee High School in 1985. She later attended OSU Okmulgee where she earned several certifications in the medical field. Carolyn was a CNA, CMA and also a Certified Phlebotomist who had a passion for helping people and a very caring and nurturing spirit. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Michelle Long of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Jacob Ralph Long and Britney of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and Renee Long and Stacy of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Brother, Bill McCarty, Jr. of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Shevy Fulton, Braxton Thomas, Riley Thomas, Abigail Ross and Verity Ross all of Okmulgee, Oklahoma as well as a niece, Julie Earnest and family of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
