Catherine Ann Hall, a resident of the Wilson community went to be with her Lord February 24, 2015 at the age of eighty-two. Catherine was born February 1, 1933 in Dewar Oklahoma to Alvin Wade Hubbs and Della Florence (Payne) Hubbs. She lived in the Wilson community eighty-one of her eighty-two years of life. Catherine attended Wilson Public School for twelve years and graduated valedictorian of the class of 1950. She attributed much of her success in life to R.E. and Ruby Wilson, long time educators at Wilson school. In 1952 this petite golden brown haired girl with vibrant blue eyes and the perfect smile met and married a six foot five inch young man with black curly hair. Buster Hall and Catherine Hubbs were married March 15, 1952. This marriage produced two sons, Morris Wade Hall and Monty Del Hall, both proud graduates of Wilson High School. Catherine was proceeded in death by her parents, twin sisters Latha Tarwater and Gatha Hubbs, Brother James Floyd Hubbs, son-in-law Charles David Anderson, nieces Colleen Duke, Carolyn Bowdler, nephews James Tarwater, James Roy Bowdler, Julius Lavendusky and Darrel Lavendusky. She is survived by sons Wade Hall of the Wilson community, Monty Hall and wife Linda of Choctaw, Oklahoma. Grand-daughter Jenna Elizabeth Hall, fiancé© Connor Gates and grand-son Jared Del Hall of Choctaw, Oklahoma. Sister-in-law Dorothy Hall of Checotah, Oklahoma, sister in Christ and best friend Joyce VanMeter. Four nieces and three nephews and a multitude of other relatives. Pall bearers will be Justin Tarwater, Rocky Lollis, Christopher Tarwater, Kevin McCroskey, Dustin Ramsey, Jason Ramsey and Jarrod Duke. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Flanagan, Don Tarwater, James Keys, Leo Lassiter, Jimmy Spurlock, Carl McCroskey, Kenneth Hubbs, Lee Hartsell, Don Adams, Vernon Van Meter Sr. and Carlton Dodge. In January and February 2015 she tried to fight off a sever sinusitis infection as well as type A flu, double pneumonia and eventually congestive heart failure. Her frail body had fought its last battle. The legacy she left to anyone who knew her was a "servant's heart". Catherine will be missed by so many people. She is now "Sheltered in the Arms of God". A viewing will be from 5-8 pm on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Integrity Funeral Service and from 8am-8pm Friday, February 27, 2015. The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm on Friday February 27, 2015 at Integrity Funeral Service Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00am, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Abundant Life Holiness Church in Henryetta, Oklahoma with Rev. Suzie Stevens, Rev. Becky Watkins, and Rev. Everett Smith. Interment will follow at New Sonora Cemetery in Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
