Charles H. "Bud" Carper, Jr.

Charles H. "Bud" Carper, a resident of Broken Arrow passed away Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 in Broken Arrow at the age of 79. He was born August 14th, 1944 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Charles H. Carper, Sr. and Eudola (Baker) Carper.

He married Carolyn Gaston on April 23, 1965 in Henryetta. He worked for many years as a mechanic on large cranes. He loved to fish and was a Hamm Radio Operator. In the past he was a member of various bowling leagues.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, Patsy Lane, Bennie Henderson and Bobbie Postert.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn of the home;
A daughter, Kellie Shew & husband Robert of Coweta;
Three grandchildren, Miles Sasser, Presley Sasser and Zo'e Gordiner;
Four great grandchildren, Emery Sasser, Finnley Sasser, Preston Sasser & Charles Phillips;
Two sisters, Rose Reddick and Betty Jackson;
A brother, Jerry Carper & wife Barbara;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

The casket will remain closed at all times.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
