Charles Thomas Jeffrey

Charles Thomas Jeffrey, a resident of Jenks, passed away September 01, 2014 in Jenks, OK at the age of 91. He was born Monday, November 27, 1922 in Henryetta, OK to William Jeffrey & Myrtle (Keeney) Jeffrey. Charles fought courageously during World War II in the United States Army Air Corps receiving the purple heart and a bronze medal. He was a member of the VFW, DAV, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. He was also a member of the New Springs Family Church in Jenks, Oklahoma. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Opal Wolfe, and one brother, Alfred Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lilly Jeffrey of the home, daughter, Dean Jeffrey Bennett of Collinsville, Oklahoma, daughter, Jean Jeffrey of Jenks, Oklahoma, son, Charles Jeffrey & wife Rebecca of Glenpool, Oklahoma, 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held from 2pm-8pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Integrity Funeral Service. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00PM., Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Greg Ables, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
