Charles Andrew Keller, a resident of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Saturday, December 24th, 2016 in Magnolia at the age of 64. He was born November 24, 1952 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Andrew Jack Keller and Betty Ann (Johnson) Keller.
Charles grew up in Henryetta and was a graduate of Henryetta High School Class of 1971. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1984 and studied on scholarship at the University Intensive Language Program at Tianjin in the Peoples Republic from1986-87. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a doctorate in History in 1996 and was presently employed at Southern Arkansas University. Charles' long term goal was to teach Chinese and American History courses at a junior college or small four year college. Charles reached his goal in life.
Charles loved nature and loved being outdoors. He loved hunting, particularly duck hunting, fishing and golfing.
He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Ann Keller November 20, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, San San Keller of the home in Magnolia, Arkansas;
A step daughter, Angela Zhu of China;
His father, Jack Keller & wife Sylvia of Henryetta;
Two brothers, Richard Keller of Pleasant Valley;
Steven Keller & wife Michelle of Waco, Texas;
An uncle, Murl Keller of Buffalo, Minnesota;
Also by nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Toby Notley, Carl Keller, Jimmie Crain, Philip Crain, Randy Thompson & Robert Harris.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Integrity Chapel with Rex Walcher officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
