Charles (Sox) Mochess Fixico

Charles Mochess Fixico, a resident of Okemah passed away Thursday, June 15th, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 86. He was born October 15th, 1936 in Castle, Oklahoma to Roman Fixico and Louinie (Simmer) Fixico.

He married Nancy Sue Dunson in September 0f 1955 at Bryant, Oklahoma. He was a member of Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church in Okemah.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy Sue Dunson, four sisters and one brother.

He is survived by eight children, Charles Mochess Fixico, Jr. & wife Glenda of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Patricia Gayle Harjo of Oklahoma City; Terry Gene Fixico of Konawa; Marilyn Fixico of Tulsa; Stanley Craig Fixico & wife Emily of Konawa; Christoper Fixico of Castle; Randy Fixico & wife Shelly of Oklahoma City; Eddy Fixico of Konawa; Seventeen grandchildren, Twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; One sister, Rebecca Kingsbury of Tishimingo; Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Mr. Fixico will be from 4 - 8 pm Monday, June 19th, 2023 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers for Mr. Fixico will be, Jason Harjo, Sr., Jason Harjo, Jr., Brian Fixico, Jordan Fixico, Corey Fixico, Colby Lankford, Trey Fixico, Randell Fixico, Elisha Cable, & Matthew Ellsworth; Honorary pallbearers will be, Wilbert Lowe, Bill Woford, Harry Harjo, Michael McDaniel, Bobby Bean, Jeremy Fish John Stafford & Audie Price.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Fred Lindsay and Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Castle Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
