Christina Lois Lamb, a former resident of Dewar passed away Thursday, November 28th, 2024,at the age of 105. She was born October 30, 1919 in Gage Oklahoma to Adolph Charles Gesell and Mary Alice (Owens) Gesell.
Chris is a graduate of Arnett High School and OSU.
She married Richard K. "Peck" Lamb February 28, 1942 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She worked for many years as bookkeeper and office manager for Public Service Company of Oklahoma retiring February 1, 1980 after twenty-eight years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henryetta, a life member of OSU Alumni Association, a life member of Henryetta VFW, Life member of Silver Wings Plus, a fifty year member of Dewar Rebekah Lodge, Ladies Elks Association of Henryetta, Henryetta Ladies Golf Association, Henryetta Historical Society, Three Rivers Museum in Muskogee, a life member of Kiamichi Circuit Riders of McAlester and the First Priority Club of Okmulgee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Peck Lamb, one sister and one brother.
She is survived by nineteen nieces and nephews, twenty-five great-nieces and great-nephews, ten great-great nieces and nephews, two god-children, Tee Nona Farmer and Monica Fitch Hearst and her adopted Been and Mordecai families. As well as a host of friends and other relatives.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00AM Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church, 1212 Lake Road, Henryetta, OK 744.
Interment to follow at Westlawn Cemetery,2302 W. Main St., Henryetta, OK 74437.
