Christopher James Cirigliano, a resident of Checotah, died Jan. 2, 2021 in Tulsa at the age of 23. He was born Oct. 22, 1997 in Sidney, New York to Wayne & Lucinda Cirigliano.
Christopher loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, pawn shopping, playing PlayStation with Lane, and spending time with his friends and family. As a child, he spent endless hours in the woods, lakes, and streams of upstate New York. In high school, Chris excelled on the wrestling mat, wrestling varsity four years for BGAH. After graduating high school, Chris gave back to the sport he loved so much by helping younger athletes reach their goals during practice and by assisting at wrestling tournaments. Chris lived his life to the fullest; he made the best of the time he had on earth, overcoming many obstacles to become the successful young man that he was. Christopher’s laughter was contagious, and his smile would light up a room. He will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donna and Samuel Buchanan.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Ashley Collett of the home and her son, Lane Collett; his parents, and his siblings: Ashley Roth, Wayne Cirigliano, Jr., and Justin Cirigliano, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 5:00 PM at the Checotah First Baptist Church in Checotah, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
