Christopher John Thomas, a treasured member of the Okmulgee community, passed away on the 28th of November 2023. Born on February 22nd, 1971, in Henryetta, Oklahoma,

He is remembered with great affection by his devoted mother, Pamela Elmore, and his loving children, Dalynn Sturman, Christopher John Thomas II, and Gabriel Logan Thomas. Christopher's light will also continue to shine in the life of his fiancé, Laura Carl. Though he has joined his father, Gary Wayne Thomas, paternal grandfather Herman Leon Thomas, and maternal grandmother Luella Holly Bennight in eternal rest, the legacy they helped to nurture lives on through him.

Christopher's professional life was marked by dedication and enthusiasm. For over ten years, he managed the local Game Stop in Okmulgee, where he was able to blend his passion for gaming with his professional pursuits.

He was also a member of the Elks Club, where his creative spirit and interest in community engagement found a welcoming home.

Christopher John Thomas leaves behind a community enriched by his presence, and he will be profoundly missed.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00AM, Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at Salt Creek Cemetery in the Wilson community. Services are under the direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home to help pay for arrangements.
