Cleata Marie Pearce, 66, a resident of Henryetta, OK, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on September 19, 1956, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Maggie Lee Arnett (Hyslope) and Connie B. Daniels.

Cleata is preceded in death by her husband, GB, father, Connie B. Daniels, brother, Jeffery Daniels, sisters, Ruthie Daniels, Vickie Lanier and brother Robert and grandson Jarrod Pearce.

Cleata grew up in Checotah, Oklahoma, where she attended school and developed a strong work ethic that would carry her through her life. She began her career by farming the land in Hanna, Oklahoma, with her husband GB (Gary) whom she married April 29th, 1974 in Hanna. Cleata and GB also started their family in Hanna before moving to Dustin. where she worked at the Wrangler Sewing Factory in Pharoah for about ten years. Cleata's dedication to her work continued as she joined Bluewave Boat Manufacturers in Checotah, and eventually moved to Henryetta, where she worked as a cook at Fountain View Manor for several years. Cleata was a hard worker, always staying busy and caring for her family.

In addition to her dedication to her family and work, Cleata had a passion for gardening and loved tending to her beautiful flowers. She enjoyed sipping a good cup of coffee while reading romance or Stephen King mystery novels, providing her with a well-deserved escape from her busy life. However, Cleata's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Her love for them was evident in the time and care she devoted to each of them, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Family was at the heart of Cleata's life, and she is survived by her loving children, Gary Pearce and his wife EmmaLee of Hitchita, Oklahoma, Misty Lewis of Aledo, Texas, and Linda Pearce of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Cleata was a proud grandmother to Kim, Heather, Jarrod, Jake, Shannon, Jill, Nolan, Jimmy, and Brittany. She is also survived by her mother, Maggie Arnett of Checotah, and her siblings, Charles Daniels of Muskogee, Louise Everidge of Eufaula, Cynthia Markham of Muskogee, and Lisa Howard and her husband John of Muskogee, OK.

Cleata's loving, creative, and wise nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the lives of her children, grandchildren, and the countless others she touched throughout her life. As we remember Cleata, let us celebrate the love, laughter, and wisdom she brought to our lives and honor her memory by continuing to care for one another as she did for us.

Rest in peace, Cleata Marie Pearce. Your love and light will forever shine in the hearts of those you leave behind.
