Cleva Jean Lois (Cleva Tennison) Tipton

Cleva Jean Lois Tipton, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Tuesday, August 9th, 2016 in Henryetta at the age of 86. She was born July 17, 1930 in Boynton, Oklahoma to Clifford Sterling Tennison & Mittie Lois (Justus) Tennison. She married William Ray Tipton June 18, 1948.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ray Tipton, June 28, 2016, also by a daughter, DeWanda Tipton Bond, & one brother Sterling Tennison.

Cleva is a graduate of Henryetta High School Class of 1948. She and Ray had the Calvary Faith Temple in Henryetta for many years and after its closing began attending the Northside Worship Center. The love of her life was the Lord and her family. She loved cooking and being grandma to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Terry Tipton & wife Linda of Broken Arrow;
One daughter, Rene Sturman & husband Bill of Henryetta;
Twelve grandchildren;
Twenty seven great grandchildren;
Six great-great grandchildren;
As well as a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing will be from 6 - 8pm Wednesday, and 8am - 8pm Thursday at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be, Travis Tipton, Glen Sturman, Dustin Blackwell, Brandon Blackwell, Jess Hale & David Ramby. Honorary pallbearers will be, Kody Putman, Tuff Putman, Dakota Wilbourn, Wyatt Wilbourn, A. J. Welch, Nathan Welch, John Adams, Bo Adams, Adam Minihan, Kolby Adams, J. T. Cheatham & Christian Estrada.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Will Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
