Dale Donovan Dutchy, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Morris, Oklahoma, at the age of 74. Born on August 17, 1950, in Schurz, Nevada, Dale lived a life of service, hard work, and unwavering faith.
He attended Douglas High School in Gardnerville, Nevada, and later continued his education at Haskell Indian Junior College in 1973. His patriotic spirit led him to serve his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Dale's faith journey was important to him, and in 1987, he was baptized at the First Indian Baptist Church in Norman, Oklahoma. His spiritual path later brought him to Sand Creek Baptist Church in Wetumka, where he was a dedicated member.
A licensed electrician, Dale took great pride in his work and was a longstanding Oklahoma Electric Worker’s Union member.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Thomas Dutchy and Caroline Senovia George, his brother Llewelyn Dutchy, and his sister Beverly Caldera.
He leaves behind three loving daughters—Dawna, Halona, and Sanya—along with seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two adopted great-grandchildren, six sisters, a brother, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing for Dale will be on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 4-6 PM at Integrity Funeral Service.
A wake service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 6-8 PM at Integrity Chapel.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 2:30 PM, officiated by Rev. Leon Hawzipta, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Wil Givens, Anthony Dutchy, Alexis Dutchy, Raymond Payne, Jr., William Cuellar and Jacoby Dutchy Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Dutchy and Riley Aylor.
