Dale Jeanette Wagner passed away on May 17, 2024, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Born on November 26, 1932, to Otis and Linnie (Baden) Boyd in Pineville, Louisiana, Dale's life was marked by her love for her family and community.
Dale devoted her professional life to the profession of nursing providing comfort and healing. Her contributions extended beyond her work, as she ingrained herself in the community, leaving behind a legacy of service.
In a cherished union that spanned six decades, Dale and her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Wagner, created a legacy of togetherness after marrying in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 5, 1964. They later put down roots in Henryetta, having moved from McAlester in the year 2000, and continued to foster a home filled with warmth and welcome.
Dale's interests revealed her appreciation for the simple pleasures. Shopping and traveling to various locales to dine out were among her favorite pastimes. However, nothing compared to the joy she found in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Dale is preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Linnie Boyd, her son Richard Walker, and granddaughter Lori Berry.
She is survived by her husband Robert Wagner of the home and her children, Stephen Walker and his wife Sharon of Amarillo, Texas; Linda Kay Berry and her husband Lloyd of Carbondale, Kansas; Charles Walker and his wife Lian of Jenks, Oklahoma; and Robin Adamson and her husband Don of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Dean Austin of Durant, Oklahoma; Blake Austin of Athens, Texas; Cheyanne LaBoube of Moore, Oklahoma; Dawn Walker of Amarillo, Texas; Lonnie Molacek of Kansas City, Missouri; Lance Berry of Topeka, Kansas; Jenny Brockman of Kansas City, Missouri; Merton Ferguson of Waco, Texas; and her great-granddaughter, Ever Austin.
