Dallas Lee Collett, a resident of Tulsa, passed from this life on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Dallas was born on February 29, 1936 in Schulter, Oklahoma to Charles Collett and Claudia Tedlock Collett. Dallas grew up in Schulter and graduated from Schulter High School. Following his school years, Dallas worked for several years in insurance sales and later was employed by Coffman Men's Store in Henryetta. He spent most of his working career as a glass worker with PPG and Ford. Dallas was a proud and longtime UAW union member. Dallas loved to visit with people and was always a volunteer to help in any way possible. Dallas married Susan Kile in Henryetta, Oklahoma on February 23, 1968. They remained happily married for 45 years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and his grandparents. Dallas is survived by his wife, Susan of the Tulsa home; a son, Dallas Lee Collett II of Tulsa; a daughter, Kim McCall and husband Larry of Wichita Falls, TX; a grandson, Brandon McCall and wife Anna of Burkburnett, TX; 3 great grandchildren, Summer McCall, Taylor McCall, and Hunter McCall, all of Burkburnett, TX; several cousins and numerous other extended family; and many good friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 3pm at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta with Rev. Greg Joki officiating. Interment will follow immediately under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Viewing will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Friday from 5pm to 8pm and on Saturday from 8am until 1pm.
