Dan Allen Donathan, age 47, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 after a courageous fight with Covid.
Dan was born on August 2, 1973 in Okmulgee, to Dale and Fran (Atkinson)Donathan with two big brothers awaiting his arrival. Being the youngest of the three, Dan had to be tough. From BB gun fights, hunting, and fishing, to hauling hay, and riding dirt bikes, lots of adventures were had through the years.
Dan attended Wilson Public Schools where he played baseball and basketball. He was also a member of the FFA, showing sheep and cattle. Dan graduated Wilson High School in 1992.
After High School, Dan attended and graduated from Tulsa Welding School. He worked as a welder for many years and picked up the hobby of handcrafting metal art.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially turkey hunting @ McGee Creek. On many occasions, he could be found with a handful of cookies and a tall glass of milk.
Dan is preceded in death by his mother Frances Donathan.
Surviving Dan are his wife, Ericka, his children Chelsea, Shelby, Jase, Shiann, Paxton, Katie, and Michael, and grandchildren Zoey, Cooper, Aiden, Maverick and Ryker.
Dan is also survived by his father Dale, brothers Matt Donathan, and Jason & Delena Donathan, along with many other relatives and friends.
Due to Covid, the family has decided to postpone services until a later date.
