Dan was Married to Darleen Clancy Raber for over 20 happy years.
Dan was a fun-loving guy. He thrived on being with people and making friends. He often spoke of his many "buddies" that he had in various places. He would recall amusing anecdotes and would light up with laughter as he retold the stories. Dan also had a nurturing soul. He had a rare connection with animals and loved caring for them. He had a vast knowledge of zoology and enjoyed learning about his different animals. Dan wasn't greedy, he always gave generously for small favors or acts of service. Dan was a very talented builder. He worked meticulously with his hands. He sustained a thriving construction business for many years. When Dan saw things that were broken, he wanted to fix them. He saw their potential and restored them to life. Danny was strong and independent for many years, but unfortunately, he couldn't restore himself back to life.
He wanted to maintain his independence and therefore did not seek help when he needed it most. Let Dan be a help one more time. He would love that, to know he's helped someone even after his death. We can all learn from Dan's life. We must learn that at some point we all will need help. We must be willing to listen to our loved ones, to accept their help and be willing to change. We must learn to seek professional help when necessary. Most of all we should learn to seek spiritual help, no matter how strong we keep our bodies, our minds, our emotions, we still have an appointment with death. (Hebrews 9:27) We are frail (Psalm 39.4) and life is short. (James 4:14) True strength comes from God through Jesus Christ.(Colossians1:11, Philippians 4:13)
Let Dan help you with the most important decision of your life. Get spiritual help, call unto God today. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me." (John 14:6)
Confess, with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
You will be saved from eternal hell, to dwell in heaven with God forever.
We love you Dan, and we will miss you!
