Daryl Lee Owens

Daryl Lee Owens, a resident of Mounds, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Mounds at the age of 38. Daryl was born on January 24, 1974 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Robert Curtis Owens and June Odom Owens. Daryl grew up and attended school in Okmulgee and Mounds, but graduated from Mounds High School. Daryl worked as a brick and stone mason for most of his adult life. He loved to fish and especially loved time spent with his family. Daryl is preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Owens. He is survived by his mother, June Owens of the home in Mounds; by his brother Robert Owens and fiancé© Lori Smith of Sand Springs; by many other extended family and many good friends. Pallbearers will be Steve Walker, Shawn Johnston, and Brent Barbie. Funeral Services for Daryl will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 2:00pm at Shurden Chapel, 411 W. Division in Henryetta. Interment will follow at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
