David Eugene Armbrister

December 25, 1950 — February 7, 2013

David Eugene Armbrister, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home in Henryetta at the age of 62. David was born on December 25, 1950 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Lee Roy Armbrister and Dorothy Cupps Armbrister. Following his school years, David joined the U.S. Army where he served for approximately 2 years before his honorable discharge. For approximately the past 20 years, David had been living in Showlow, Arizona where he worked as a truck driver. David was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Showlow . David was known among his family and friends as a real craftsman, where he made beautiful hand made knives. David is preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Armbrister; by his daughter, Christy Armbrister; and by his brother, Marion Lloyd Armbrister. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Armbrister of Phoenix, AZ; by 3 sons, David Lee Armbrister and fiancee Andrea Stachar of Henryetta, Michael Armbrister of Durant, OK, and Dakota Armbrister of Fayetteville, AR; by two daughters, Kristen Armbrister and Jordan Armbrister both of Fayetteville, AR; by a step-son, Tommy Duncan of Fayetteville, AR; by a brother, James Armbrister and wife Shirley of Allen Reed, TX; by a sister, Dorothy Silva and husband Louey of Phoenix, AZ; by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; by numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends. Following cremation, private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
