David Eugene Morgan

David Eugene Morgan, a resident of Henryetta passed away May 19, 2015 in Tulsa at the age of 58. He was born June 1, 1956 in Joliet, Illinois to Elmo Morgan, Sr. and Rosetta Katie (Haynes) Morgan. He worked for many years as a cook at Beacon Drive-In in Okmulgee and later for Coleman's Drive In in Okmulgee. He was a member of Big Cussetah Indian Methodist Church in the Prairie Bell area. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmo Morgan, Sr. and a brother, Glen Morgan. He is survived by his mother, Rosetta Haynes Morgan of Henryetta; Three brothers, Elmo Morgan, Jr. & wife Rebecca of Sapulpa; James Morgan & wife Yvonne of Okmulgee; Bud Morgan of Oklahoma City; Five sisters, Ruthie Morgan Grimes of Tulsa; Trisha Major & husband David of Mesquite, Texas; Diane Morgan & husband Elliott Walker of Henryetta; Betty Williams & husband Phillip of Arlington, Texas; Mary Morgan of Tulsa; As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday until funeral time at Big Cussetah Indian Methodist Church. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Big Cussetah Indian Methodist Church. Interment will be in Big Cussetah Church Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
