Dean Gerald Yingling, a beloved family patriarch passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on December 24, 1950, in San Diego, California, Dean's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, his faith, and his career in sales.
Dean is survived by his wife, Tina Yingling, his children, Tricia Thorman and her husband Ross, Terri Yingling, Dean Gerald Yingling, Jr., & wife Jessica, Billie Jean Wheeler and her husband Brett, Lisa Mosco, and Josh Haltom & wife Liz. His legacy continued to flourish through his grandchildren, Trevor, Brady, Maizie Jay, Brayden, Payden, Cayden, Mason, Michael, Elias, and Allison, and even further still with his great-grandchildren, Finnick, Everett, Solomon, Harvey, and Grayson, also by a sister, Barbara Bell, also by a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Before his retirement, Dean worked sales manager at A & B Distributing, where his acumen and jovial nature earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. He also worked as a pipeliner and upon his retirement he worked at Coweta Public Schools. His professional achievements were paralleled only by his commitment to his community as an active member of Crosspoint Baptist Church in Coweta, where he shared his faith.
Dean's story is interwoven with the fond memories shared by a host of friends and relatives who were touched by his humor, his wisdom, and his boundless generosity. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry B. and Lena S. (Gilroy) Yingling, his brother Robert Yingling, his sister Helen Culbertson, and his wife Norma Jean Yingling, Dean leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Dean's journey on earth has concluded, but the impact of his life endures, immortalized through his family's love and the countless lives he influenced. He will be profoundly missed and eternally remembered.
Viewing for Dean will be 3 - 8 pm, Wednesday, June 19th, at Integrity Funeral Service with family present to greet friends from 6 - 8 pm at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be, Trevor Thorman, Brady Thorman, Ross Thorman, Brayden Wheeler, Cayden Wheeler & Mason Mosco.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Greg Kelch, Gary Carnes, Billy Brown, Jerry Sills, Tommy Dickey, Johnny Crabtree, & Jerry Harper.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at Integrity Chapel with Brett Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
