Debbs Underwood

August 25, 1919 — July 23, 2016

Debbs Underwood, a resident of Choctaw passed away Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 96. He was born August 25th, 1919 in Kusa, Oklahoma to Pete Underwood and Hattie (Green) Underwood.

He worked as a V Groove machine operator for U.S. Plywood in Seattle for many years. He was a member of the Wood Workers Union and attended Valley View Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Margaret Underwood, his second wife, Mary (Slane) Underwood, a brother, Dee Underwood, three sisters, Jackie Tidwell, Belle Hunter, & Evelyn Crawford.

He is survived by two children:
Ann Molet of Choctaw, Oklahoma
Jim Underwood & wife Anna Marie of Lake Stevens, Washington;
One brother, Harles James Underwood of Schulter;
One sister, Beulah Jones of Pawnee, Oklahoma;
Six grandchildren
Nineteen great grandchildren
One great-great grandchild
As well as a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
