Delores June Lawson of Henryetta passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 in Henryetta at the age of 75. She was born April 21, 1941 in Waldron, Arkansas to Floyd Hubbs and Ocie N. (Holmes) Hubbs. She married Garland Dee Lawson June 10, 1967.
Delores was a longtime resident of Henryetta and graduated from Henryetta High School. She was a wonderful person who many loved and adored. She was a great cook, liked to read, quilt, sew, crochet, do needlework and solve puzzles. She was a good wife who lovingly doted on her husband, he was her all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd & Ocie Hubbs, also by a brother Edmond Hubbs.
She is survived by her husband Garland Dee Lawson of the home;
Two daughters: Lydia Lawson of Henryetta;
Patricia Henley of Sand Springs;
Two granddaughters: Tiffany Henley of Tulsa;
Cherise Henley of Sand Springs;
One grandson: Ryan Henley of Henryetta;
Five sisters: Ann Watson of San Marcos, Texas;
Shirley Ausbrook & husband Bob of Tulsa;
Glenda Crosby of Henryetta;
Janice Spurlock & husband Jimmy of Henryetta;
Anita Raley & husband Darryl of Okmulgee;
One brother, Kenneth Hubbs & wife Barbara of Henryetta;
Viewing will begin on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 5-8pm and Friday from 8am until 8pm.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow in Salt Creek Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
