Diane Lee Wood

Diane Lee Wood, a resident of Henryetta, was born on August 6, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois to Dennis Wood and Vanna Dawn (Clark) Wood. She passed from this life on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 48. Diane grew up in the Barstow, California area and attended school there. Following school she was married and raised her family of 3 daughters and a son. In 1989, she moved to Oklahoma with her family and remained in the Henryetta area until her death. Diane is preceded in death by her mother, Vanna Wood; her brother, Christopher Allen Wessling; and an infant grandson, Zachary Allen Mahan. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Michelle Maldonado and husband James of Henryetta, Samantha Smallwood and partner Michael Mahan of Henryetta, and Natasha Smallwood and fiancee Greg Coats of Henryetta; a son, Thomas Smallwood, USMC in North Carolina; 2 sisters, Dawn Avery and husband David of Arizona City, AZ and Heather Wood and husband Shannon of Richmond, MO; her father, Dennis Fred Wood of Strawberry, AZ; and 5 grandchildren, Joshua Maldonado, Tylor Maldonado, Brendon Maldonado, Matthew Mahan, and Jayden Coats. Viewing and visitation for friends and family will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. A private memorial service for Diane will be held at a later date in Arizona. Final arrangements were entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta, OK.
