Donald Ray Vaughn, 75, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 28th 2020. Mr. Vaughn was born August 19th, 1945 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Clarence and Nova (Barton) Vaughn.
Donald attended Henryetta High School and would begin his career pipe-lining in 1965 in the Gulf of Mexico. He joined IUOE and worked all over the country including the Alaskan Pipeline and going to Venezuela and Syria. Donald retired from IUOE pipe-lining and would begin driving a school bus for Henryetta Public Schools. He drove the bus for 5 years and decided to stay home to be a grandpa
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jack Vaughn and sister Juanita Bales
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Winona (Brown) Vaughn of the home, brother Earl Vaughn and wife Sue of Henryetta, son, Clayton Vaughn and wife Cleta of Henryetta, Grandchildren Bubba, Stormy, Destiny and Trinity of Henryetta, as well as a host of other family and dear friends.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00AM Tuesday as Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Services under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service, Henryetta, Oklahoma
