Dorcas Dwan Tiger

Dorcas Dwan Tiger, a resident of Tiger Mountain passed away Thursday, July 21st, 2022 peacefully at her home with family surrounding her. She was born January 29th, 1932 in Richardsville, Oklahoma to Connie Lowe and Linnie (Richards) Lowe.
She was a lifetime member of Silver Spring Baptist Church.  She worked in many capacities within Dewar School System, however, her last job was as In School Detention Director at Dewar Public Schools.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jackson Tiger, a special daughter-in-law, Janice Tiger, five brothers, Jerry Lowe, R. H. McIntosh, Sam Lowe, Joe Lowe, Tommy Lowe, also by two sisters, Ida Hughes and Abby Davis.

She is survived by four children, A. J. Tiger & wife Carol of Tiger Mountain;
Wilma Tiger of Okmulgee;
Tony Tiger & wife Vicky of Tiger Mountain;
Eric Tiger & wife Lisa of Albuquerque, New Mexico;
Special nephew, Tad Lowe & wife Leanne of Houston, Texas;
Eight grandchildren, Brett Tiger & wife Lori of Tiger Mountain;
Tracie Britt & husband Carl of Dewar;
Zachary Tiger & wife Katurah of Albuquerque, New Mexico;
Brittony Tiger of Branson, Missouri;
Tiffany Tiger of Albuquerque, New Mexico;
Tyler Tiger & wife Elena of Albuquerque, New Mexico;
Erica Tiger  & Anselem Umeh of California;
Sophia Mineses & husband Isaac of Albuquerque, New Mexico;
Thirteen great grandchildren, Ross Britt, Brett Tiger, Jr. & wife Kaity; Taran & Dylan Pippin, Brandon & Ava Tiger; Cole & Rachel Britt; Morgan Britt; Cleo Tiger; Thea Tiger and coming soon, Indy Grace Mineses
Two great-great grandchildren, Joni Tiger & Taytum Pippin;
Special grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas & Jessica, Joshua & Kristina Lowe;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

At Dorcas' request, her viewing will be from 6 - 8pm Friday, July 29th in Integrity Chapel.

Pallbearers will be, A. J. Tiger, Tony Tiger, Eric Tiger, Brett Tiger, Zachary Tiger, Tyler Tiger, Tad Lowe & Carl Britt.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Tiger, Jr., Brandon Tiger, Ross Tiger Britt, Cole Britt, Dylan Pippin and the Men of Silver Spring Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at Silver Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hawkins & Rev. Dennis Bible officiating.  Interment will follow in Silver Spring Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
