Dorothy Bell Biddle, a former longtime resident of the Henryetta area passed away Thursday, Feburary 28, 2013 in Ponca City at the age of 99. Mrs. Biddle was born August 31, 1913 at Ryal, near Henryetta, to Reuben Wesley Bell and Pernecy Lindley Bell. Dorothy married William Robert (Bill) Biddle on December 13, 1933 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. They began their farm life together near Dustin. She was a very active member of the Dustin First United Methodist Church and WSCS. For many years she was delegate to the annual conference from the Dustin Church. Later, she became a member of the Henryetta First United Methodist Church where she attended and worked in the Church for many years. She joined St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Ponca City when she moved to Westminster - via Christi Retirement Center. She was active in many areas for years and served as treasurer for the Dustin Cemetery Association and sat under a tree or rain umbrella to collect fees on Memorial Day. She was a member of the 20th Century Club of Henryetta, the Rural Water Board and at Bill's death in 1980 she filled his unfinished term on the Hughes County Soil Conservation Board and Contract. She was the Dustin Election supervisor for years. One of her great pleasures was preparing favorite dishes. Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Norma Casad and husband Burton of Ponca City; Four grandchildren, Maurice Casad & wife Cathy of Bartlesville; Neil Casad & wife Edwina of Sanford, Florida; Karan Morein & husband Mark of Vero Beach, Florida; Lisa and Roger Hilbig of Parker, Colorado; Ten great-grandchildren, Jeff and Kendra, Whitney, Alissa and Mackenzie Morein; Kelsey & Megan Casad, Cameron & Charissa Casad; Ryan & Katie Hilbig; Very special nephew and nieces, Jerry Biddle, Elizabeth Brown, Phyllis Gruner, Nancy Jeffreys, Peggy Hague, Linda Schlinkert, & Joyce Blaylock. As well as a host of friends and other family. The family will greet friends at Integrity Funeral Service from 6 - 8 p.m., Sunday evening. The family request donations in Dorothy's memory be made to the Dustin Cemetery Association. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 at Dustin Cemetery with Neil Casad, officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
