Dorothy May Carriker Deyne was born May 8, 1927 in Dinuba, California to Josephus Joshua and Claudia Sophy Chandler Carriker. She entered into rest on September 7, 2024 at the age of 97 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. 

Dorothy was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church. She was extremely talented in crafting and sewing and enjoyed creating various items for her family and her friends. Over the course of her life, she provided for her family in a number of industries as a bus driver, a garbage truck driver, daycare worker and cook, and finally retired from Walmart in Henryetta after 17 years. Dorothy loved her family and enjoyed every time the family could gather together and celebrate over the Memorial Day holiday. Dorothy was proud of her sons that served in the Vietnam War as well as two grandsons, one great-grandson served in the Armed Forces and one great-granddaughter that currently serves in the Armed Forces.

 Dorothy is proceeded in death by her husbands, Wesley Vernon Williams, Gilbert Dale Vaughn, and Donald Edward Deyne. Three sisters, Darlene Naomi Mulrooney, Doris Lorene Carriker, and Donna Carriker. One daughter Julie Vaughn Banks.

Dorothy is survived by seven children, Charles Williams of Twin Falls, Idaho, Larry Williams of Sagle, Idaho, John Williams and wife Sharon of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Dennis Vaughn and wife Sherrie of Russellville, Kentucky, Sherry Padgett and husband Neal of Lynn Valley, Kansas, David Vaughn of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Debbie Kindberg of St. Joseph, Missouri. Twenty-seven grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Dennis Vaughn Jr., Jeremiah Willams, Chris Padgett, Daniel Vaughn, Jonathon Kindberg, Carmiel Padgett, Michael Chambers, Tyler Coates, and Jeremy Goss.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2024 at 2:00PM at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin and Rev. Robert Christian officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
