Dorothy Aileen Walter

Dorothy A. Walter, a longtime Henryetta resident and former resident of Dustin, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 8th, 2016 in Henryetta at the age of 94. Dorothy, or better known to her relatives as Aileen, was born on November 25, 1921 in Saltillo, Mississippi to Robert Tommie Clark and Minnie Faye Whitten Clark. Dorothy worked as a telephone operator before marrying the love of her life, John Jack Walter on November 24, 1943 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Henryetta. She was an Eastern Star member for over 50 years, serving as Worthy Matron several times at the Dustin Chapter and she served in other offices in the Henryetta chapter of Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her husband John who passed away in 1998; by both of her parents; a son, Robert Tommie Walter; and a brother, Raymond Clark. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Davidson and husband Duane Joseph Davidson of Henryetta; one sister, Mildred Estella Martin of Henryetta; one brother, J.T. Clark of Belen, New Mexico; two grandsons, John Joseph Davidson and wife Janet of Broadlands, VA and Daniel Duane Davidson and wife Dawn of Tampa, FL. Dorothy was blessed with six great grandchildren. John and Janet's children are John Austin, Emily Brooke, Joseph Michal, and Rachel Nicole. Dan and Dawn's children are Cody Duane and Samantha Nicole. Dorothy also had numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and many good friends. Viewing for Dorothy will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from noon until 8:00pm at Integrity Funeral Service. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 10:00am at Integrity Chapel with Rex Walcher officiating. Services have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Dickey, Butch Ritter, Sammy Williamson, Ronnie Duke, Dennis Martin, Ron Bartolina, James Brown, and Eldon Washburn.
