Dottie Eugene Dodson

Dottie Eugene Dodson of Cameron Park, CA, passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, surrounded by his children. He was born August 11, 1936, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Dottie Oral Dodson and Lorene Juanita (Counterman) Dodson.
Dottie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on June 25, 1957, and departed the service three years later at the rank of Corporal. He worked as an 18 wheel commercial truck driver for 50 years and he was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife.
Dottie is survived by his daughter Laurie Manske & husband David;
daughter Becky Rogers & husband Glen;
daughter Joni Remer;
son Michael (Jennifer) Dodson;
8 grandchildren: Kirsti Romero, Dillon Romero, Kaitlyn Rogers, Logan Hayes, Allie Dodson, Michael Remer, Sydney Remer, Nathan Dodson;
great grandson: Xavian Smith;
One brother, Charles Dodson;
Four sisters, Donna Norman & husband Bill;
Dorothy Akins;
Deborah Akins & husband Jim;
Dianna Gordon& husband Earl.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews to whom he was lovingly known as "Uncle Tiny".
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Integrity Funeral Service Chapel in Henryetta with Rev. Rex Walcher officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta.
