Doyal Ray Thomas

Doyal Ray Thomas, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Thursday, May 2nd, 2013 at his home in Henryetta at the age of 71. He was born December 26, 1941 to David & Florene (Minyard) Thomas in Dustin, Oklahoma. Doyal was a veteran serving with the United States Army. He married Joyce Dudley June 16, 1967 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Henryetta. He worked many years as a sales representative with Colley & Company in Henryetta. Doyal is survived by his wife Joyce of the home in Henryetta; One son, Derrick Thomas & fiancee' Tabitha Russell of Henryetta; One grandson, Dalton Thomas of Henryetta; One granddaughter on the way; Mother, Florene Thomas of Henryetta; One brother, Ron Thomas & wife Lisa of Henreytta; Two sisters, Gaye Newton & husband Jim of Henryetta; DeRhonda Andrews & husband Don of Tiger Mountain; Two sisters-in-law, Charlene Roland & husband Henry of Okmulgee; Vickie Sanders & husband Art of Muskogee; Also by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013 in Shurden Chapel, 5th & Division with Dr. Audie Swinney, officiating.
