She was born Saturday, June 12, 1926 in Hanna, OK to Edward Harris & Pauline (Floyd) Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Paul Harjo, sister, Ruth Ryal and brother, Rex Harris. Edith is survived by her son, Larry Harjo and wife Toni of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 2 grandsons, Greg Harjo & wife Mindy of Edmond; and Bryan Harjo of Tulsa; one granddaughter, Jennifer Mitchell of Brackenville, Tennessee; 4 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Gladys Fields of Henryetta, Blanche Harjo of Henryetta, and Edna Lane of Henryetta, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 1st, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, 207 N. 4th St., Henryetta with Rev. Jim Paslay officiating. Interment will follow at Hanna Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
